Tyria or Elona Cartographer
So i only need 1 more title for my hom and i got 89,4% in Elona and 89,3 % in Tyria.
My question is what is the easiest campaign to carto? ( Alrdy did Cantha) |

I would say Elona aswell
There's quite a few "inaccessible" areas to explore that adds to cartography which is nice. Those black areas on the map are the one's I've explored behind the zone portals. Ofcourse the portal jumping is not needed for the 100% but it definitely makes it easier. There's abit more areas that I havn't shown on that screenshot too. I used this to help me portal jump to explore those inaccessible areas:Area boundary/Portal jumping project |

The first one I got was Elona. It took me 3 days since release. The entire Crystal Overlook was left when I got 100%. I just brought there my main character the very first day it got released, and cleared the entire the first time I entered it, licking the walls.
I also bought all skills in the last skill trainer to unlock them and have them ready for the rest of my characters. Factions took me three weeks. Mainly because some places are tricky and retrying when the time runs out before you get there gets boring. And some PvP areas must be explored while not actually playing. Prohecies took me three months. I explored up to 90% in less than one month, then another month looking for 9.9%, and another entire month looking for a small speck I missed in Ascalon. I'd go with Elona, as well. It's smaller and all areas are accessible straight from towns/outposts.* Having to get to places like The Falls and In Prophecies, you've got more wiggle room, BUT, you have 54 areas PLUS 24 Mission areas to clear. (Dunes of Despair is a pain to map)
Edit: *except for the Crystal Overlook. Last edited by Kook~NBK~; Nov 15, 2011 at 06:26 PM // 18:26.. |

Elona..
Don't remember having to do all those 360 spins and stuff to snap the map there. They seemed to have made it more cart friendly. |

Which is easier? Uhm... neither are hard. The QUICKEST would be Elona.

have to agree Elona is smaller and can be accessed thru normal play (not just thru missions--with the exception of the remains of sahhjjaaahhha-whatever).

i just finished 100% elona and im starting tyria ( 70%)
Elona is apparently 60% the size. And elona is very easy once you get the "inaccessible" areas. but if you don't want to play happy pet teleport time..... it will be hard without those areas. ( tyria is harder by far because of missions ) |

Elona. Mapping the Remains mission is trivial if you pop a blue rock candy beforehand.

Best part of the remains is that you'll get hero armor while you are at it. As for the original question, as everyone else has said it's Elona hands down. If you haven't successfully VQ'd Elona you can do that pretty easily as well, since every area except the Plains of Jarin are accessible with 8 players. |
